Ms. Pretorius uses a variety of certified, HPCSA Department of education and international institutions assessments or test for attention deficit disorder (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). There are a variety of tools available, all based on the DSM-5 categories and categories used to diagnose ADD ADHD. An appropriate remedial therapy program is designed, based on international tools and interventions, but catered and designed to suit the individual’s personal characteristics, eventually empowering them to become independent and achieve their optimal level of success without being dependent on others, medication or experiencing academic and professional success despite the obstacles they face.
