Learners are faced with a new set of academic requirements, rules, social norms and standards, and can often find it difficult to adjust to these new circumstances. Ms Pretorius offers a support framework for the facilitation of emotional, social, academic and personal adaption to new schooling environments, new grades as well as the transitioning between one phase of academic, emotional and social development to another in the role of a school adjustment counsellor.
