Ms. Pretorius uses a variety of internationally, Health Professions Council of South Africa, Department of education and South African Council for Education (SACE) and all formal and informal schooling institutions recognize assessment test for the diagnosis of dyslexia in adults and in adults and children, which can be used in the application for assessment accommodations. A variety of intervention strategies and remedy programs are developed and adapted to address and rectifying the severity of Dyslexia, addressing dyslexia symptoms and developing a treatment plan for dyslexic adults and children.  Dyslexia is a disorder that can be managed, and the brain can be trained to overcome it. Dyslexia is often found to be a morbid disorder which is accompanied by dyscalculia, dyspraxia and Dysgraphia
